While her contemporary 1990s rival Foxy Brown faces an ongoing slew of legal cases, things are looking rather more positive for veteran New York rapper Lil Kim. The promotional campaign for the new Purple flavour, which Kim is endorsing, has been launched by the Three Olives vodka brand.

“Since I’m Queen Bee and purple is the color of royalty,” Lil Kim said in a statement, “I’m thrilled Three Olives has asked me to bring my flavor to the sexy ‘O-Face’ campaign for their new Purple vodka!”

According to Proximo Spirits, the product's manufacturer, the new flavour is a mixture of imported English vodka mixed with the taste of frozen grapes.

“A perfect match for our latest flavor, Lil’ Kim is the personification of the sassy, fun and confident brand that Three-O strives to embody,” added Elwyn Gladstone, VP of Marketing for Proximo Spirits. “We are so delighted to welcome Kim to the Three-O family, and look forward to introducing Three-O Purple to her dedicated fan base.”
