Soultrain was started by Ricardo Carter (Aka Rico) on May 5, 1998 as a club night event for Radost fx. It was the first regular RnB party in the city of Prague, at that time it was every Tuesday and carried four resident dj’s and one mc. The soultrain had develop and created its own place in the club world of Prague becoming the most successful regular club night in the country.
After 3 years on Tuesday, soultrain was moved to Thursdays. Still a weekly event and receiving very good reviews in magazines like xmag, reflex, and was also attracting television coverage by tv ocko and prima. Soul train has continued to be the trend setter for RnB and hip hop in Czech Republic and in October 2003 Saturday night was started. The history continues as soul train keeps setting the standard which it has created over 10 years on the RnB and Hip hop urban scene. Total entertainment is what we strive to continue. The Soultrain weekender is the premier night in Radost FX and Czech republic, first thanks to great music consistency, which have no similarity here. Hardly any club night in CZ can be proud of their audience. Soultrain has its unrepeatable manner and atmosphere, which takes everyone who visit this night. Artist who performance on the soultrain are international. Whose performances are full of energy and audience involvement. Our Djs usuely hype the crowd do a rap, dance and takes the audience to audience a hight of excitement. All this make the Soultrain absolutely unrepeatable music experience. Until this days on Soultrain performed : Fat Man Scoop, DJ´s Cutkiller & Abdel, Trevor Nelson (MTV), MJ Cole, Karl Brown, Matt White, DJ Maceo (De La Soul), Fun Lovin´Criminals, Lonyo, Africa Islam and much more. Soultrain visited also artists like Wesley Snipes, LL Cool J, Queen Latifa, Matt Damon, Kawne West, Neyo but to name of few. |
